# Asset Matching

Nucleus manages asset matching automatically under the hood to maintain a duplicate-free asset inventory where each asset only counts once toward your license. Our advanced matching algorithms for each connector are designed to ensure that assets are de-duplicated across sources. Each algorithm varies in design, and uses a variety of asset properties and signals to derive the most accurate unique asset to represent in Nucleus.
