# If a scan ingest fails to process, will Nucleus automatically retry it on the schedule I have set?

If you have an automation set up to ingest scans on a schedule and a scan fails to ingest, Nucleus will generally retry the ingest on the next scheduled sync.

To learn more about why a scan might be failing ingest, visit [this article](/v1/docs/upload-troubleshooting).

If you have any questions, please contact us through [the support center](https://nucleussec.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/3).
