Nucleus Self-Hosted Software Deployment

Prev Next

Overview

Nucleus customers with a self-hosted license may install and run Nucleus in their own cloud or on-premise infrastructure. Additional technical documentation for deploying and running Nucleus is available upon request. The following policies apply to self-hosted Nucleus software.

Versioning

  • Software versions will be denoted according to the year, month, and week of the year, prepended with v02. For example, a version released May 5, 2025 would be numbered v02.2025.5.19

  • Container image versions will be numbered with year, month, and day of release and will include “latest” to mark the latest production release. For example, the latest release version would be called latest whereas a version released on May 5, 2025 would be numbered 202555

Update Cadence

  • Self-hosted software packages will be updated once per quarter and distributed to customers, except in cases where critical updates require an updated version of Nucleus to be distributed more quickly.

  • Critical software updates will be distributed to customers in fewer than 30 days after an update has been requested and deemed to be critical.
