During vulnerability analysis, you may want to “tag” a vulnerability with a custom tag/label to associate it with other vulnerabilities and make it easily searchable in the future.
Vulnerability tags can easily be created and added to any vulnerability in VIP.
From the vulnerability details page for any vulnerability, click the Add a Tag link button in the upper left corner.
A list of available tags will be displayed. Either:
1) Select the existing tag you wish to use, then click Save
or
2) Enter a new tag name, click Create Tag, then click Save
The tag will now persist, and be removed at any time by clicking the “x” to the right of the tag name.
