Overview
Integration with runZero Asset Discovery enables you to sync your asset data contained in the runZero console to the Nucleus Asset Inventory. By connecting your vulnerability scan results with other sources of asset information, you gain key insights useful in the VM process.
- Identify gaps in scan coverage between vulnerability scan results and asset inventory systems.
- Enrich scan results with additional asset information, such as Open Ports & Services, or OS versions.
Connector Setup

Log into your runZero console.

Select Organizations to choose the runZero organization you wish to sync to Nucleus.

Copy your export token.

In another tab, log into Nucleus.

Go to [Project Name] > Integration Hub > Connector Setup.

Click on the runZero logo in the Asset Inventory section of the page.

Enter a Name for the connector to help you identify which Organization uses this runZero connector.

Paste the export token you copied in step 3 into the Export Token field.

Click Save Changes.

Click Verify Connection.
Once the connector is verified, you are good to go!
Set up Data Sync

Go to the Automation page.

From the Asset Inventory Sync tab, click the + Add Rule button.

From the Add Asset Sync Rule window, select the runZero Connector you just created (it may be pre-populated for you) and complete the rest of the rule setup.
Import runZero Asset Tags
Nucleus automatically imports your runZero tags as nested Nucleus Asset Groups, so you can utilize your existing organizational hierarchy from runZero. This allows you to implement filters and automation rules from your runZero data on your vulnerability scan results.
